Dutch venture capital fund SET III invests in companies that shape the energy system transition through software and service-based business models combined with hardware solutions. Set up in 2018, it is the third fund launched by SET Ventures linked to the energy transition. The integration of generation, use, storage and transmission is being facilitated by the digitalisation of the energy industry. This approach fits well with the vision of the fund that the energy transition requires investments in generation, energy efficiency and flexibility.

With this commitment, Triodos Energy Transition Europe Fund follows up on its ambition to pursue more innovative investments contributing to those initiatives that accelerate the energy transition. This is a first investment in enhancing energy flexibility, improving business development, network and knowledge in this area of the energy transition.
