The Works Council of Triodos Bank has given its positive advice and the Dutch Central Bank has approved the proposed appointment of Marjolein Landheer in the envisaged role.
Marjolein Landheer joined Triodos Bank on 1 October 2022. Immediately after the EGM, she will take over full CRO responsibilities from Willem Horstmann, who now holds the role of Chief Financial and Risk Officer (CFRO) ad interim. Marjolein Landheer will temporarily replace the current CRO, Carla van der Weerdt, who is recovering from the health impact of long COVID-19.
On 14 November 2022, Triodos Bank announced that Kees van Kalveen will take over the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) after the forthcoming EGM in January 2023 from Willem Horstmann. After a cool down period, it is foreseen that Willem Horstmann will be reappointed to resume his role as member of the Supervisory Board of Triodos Bank.
After the EGM, the Executive Board will consist of Jeroen Rijpkema (CEO and Chair), Kees van Kalveen (CFO), Marjolein Landheer (CRO ad interim), Jacco Minnaar (CCO) and Nico Kronemeijer (COO).
Mike Nawas, Chair of the Supervisory Board: “Marjolein Landheer has proven herself to be a valuable addition to Triodos Bank since she started in October. The Supervisory Board is therefore very pleased she will now join the Executive Board. Her experience will help the Executive Board and the entire organisation to deliver on its strategy. Also, we are very thankful to Willem Horstmann for taking on the combined role of CFO and CRO on an ad interim basis. We look forward continuing working with him in the Supervisory Board.”
Jeroen Rijpkema, CEO and Chair of the Executive Board: “We have worked very well with Marjolein in her capacity as Director Risk and are very pleased she is now joining the Executive Board as CRO ad interim. She will make a valuable contribution to the entire organisation and we look forward to work with her on the further development of Triodos Bank.”
